What is the difference between 304 stainless steel and 201 stainless steel?  The nickel content is different:  201 will rust after a long time under water. The causes of folding and internal cracks in 304 stainless steel pipe can be distributed along the whole length of the steel pipe, either only at the end of the steel pipe, or in a certain area of the full length.It is especially easy to appear when rolling alloy steel pipe. The reasons are as follows: the heating of 1.304 stainless steel tube billet is poor: in addition to the pre-furnace temperature of 304stainless steel tube billet, the whole heating system of 304stainless steel tube from charging to discharge also affects the formation of folding in the capillary tube. The underheating of the metal below the prescribed temperature or the overheating above the prescribed temperature, the uneven temperature along the cross section of the tube billet and the metal staying in the furnace for more than the prescribed time often lead to internal folding. When the metal is overheated or stays in the high temperature zone of the furnace for too long, the grain size of the metal grows. We know that when rolling large grain metal, a cavity is often formed in the tube billet before the piercing plug, thus the inner folding of the capillary is also formed. The original quality of 2.304 stainless steel tube is not good: to a large extent, the formation of folding of 304stainless steel tube is related to the quality of the original tube billet. If there is looseness in the center of the tube billet, or when there are various internal defects or inclusions, defects will be left on the inner wall of 304 stainless steel pipe under any piercing conditions.
